*I'm currently not able to visit this page very often as I never have a lot of time these days, so apologies for not replying quickly, but eventually 'll get round to thanking everyone for faves and comments etc!*

I currently live in Durham, North East England. I first picked up a camera for real in February 2011. Before that I'd dabbled with modelling, but I was rubbish at it, and discovered that I preferred it behind the camera. I'm very lucky that I have an understanding and patient partner - davie169.deviantart.com - who kindly allowed me to use his camera and lighting gear, and showed me how to use them.

I now have a camera of my own, and plan on using it as much as possible - I have a voracious appetite for learning, and I want to know as much as I can about photography. I'm starting a 2 year course at Gateshead College in September for my BTEC level 3 in photography, and if I pass that I want to do a degree course.

Although I enjoy and appreciate most types of photography, my own work leans more towards model photography. I want to gain experience in most genres, especially fetish, fashion, glamour, pin up, portraiture and art nude.

Eventually, as I (hopefully!) improve, I hope to create images that are dark, full of subtle rather than blatant sexuality, and are often unsettling or fetishistic, although visually beautiful - think of a Placebo or Muse video mixed up with Lady Gaga... You'll either love it or hate it - just like Marmite!
